Alice M. Rollins-Gaskill

Alice M. Rollins-Gaskill, 78, of Burlington, died Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the New London Specialty Care in New London.

Born August 22, 1947, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Harvey F. and Alice L. Henry Rudy, Jr. On May 21, 1966, she married Larry Allen Rollins in Burlington. He died February 7, 2004. She then married Omar Gaskill Jr on August 25, 2008 in their backyard in Burlington. He died on September 24, 2021.

Alice was a homemaker.

She was raised catholic and would attend mass at St John's. Alice enjoyed fishing, watching westerns and playing cards. But the most important thing to Alice was her family and spending time with them. 

Survivors include her two sons, Tim Rollins and Larry Rollins Jr., with whom she made her home in Burlington; one daughter, Michelle Williams of Oskaloosa; two step-sons; Nathan (Laura) Gaskill, and Adam Gaskill, three step-daughters; Kori (Jimmy) Thompson, Ashley (Mike) Gwin, and Sarah (Corey) Mitchell, six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Dan (LeeAnn) Rudy of Metamora IL; one sister, Marilyn Ward of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews. 

Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, John Williams, one brother, James Rudy and brother-in-law Bill Ward.

Family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Monday, January 12, 2026, at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division Street.

The funeral service for Alice will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 12, 2026, at  Prugh Funeral Service with Pastor Sam Fratt officiating.  Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.  
A memorial has been established.
