Angie Jacob Obituary

Angie Jacob was born February 1956 to Russell and Gerry Jacob in Tomah, WI. Her brother, Darrell, died at birth before Angie came along so they have now met for the first time since her death on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.

Angie completed her Bachelor's degree at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Angie married Mike Sharp in 1978 and they had their beautiful daughter, Melissa. They moved to Iowa in 1983 and later went their separate ways but remained close until her passing. Angie later married Tim Jack in 1992 and they also divorced. Then she became friends with Bill Farner and they soon began to spend all their time together.

Angie retired from Southeastern Community College in 2012 where she had worked for 17 years in the Promise Jobs Program. She was currently working for Milestones Area Agency on Aging as an Information and Assistance Specialist.

Angie loved Burlington Steamboat Days, NASCAR (Dale Jr.), her cats, and most of all, being a Green Bay Packers fan.

Waiting in Heaven are her dad, her brother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends that she will be happy to be reunited with.

Survivors include her mother, her daughter, Melissa (husband Casey); 2 grandchildren, Kailee and Baylen; her sister, Adena; two nieces, Krista and Karrie; her great-niece, Emily; her partner, Bill; Mike Sharp, many cousins, and all the wonderful people who shared their lives with her as the best friends and her chosen family.
