Betty Lou Jobe, 87, of Burlington, died Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the Wapello Specialty Care in Wapello.
Born February 11, 1938, in Milan, IL, she was the daughter of Gerald "Dude" and Cora "June" Hoffman Dallas. On March 14, 1956, she married Russell Alexander in Detroit. They later divorced. On June 6, 1966, she married George Jobe in Quincy. They later divorced.
Betty was self employed, cleaning offices and babysitting.
She was a member of New Hope Community Church and First Christian Church. She was also a member of the Burlington Women's Club, Tops, CWF, and Square Dancing. She loved her yard, flowers, and yard work, her dog and car. She loved remodeling her house. She loved her family and church families, especially loved all little children she cared for in Burlington and Keokuk.
Survivors include her significant other, Sarah Holstein of Burlington; one brother, Ronald Dallas of Ft Myers, FL; friend, Elizabeth Holstein of Burlington, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, sister, Mary Ann Francis, five aunts and uncles.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
There will be no formal services.
