Beverly Jean Parker, 68, of Burlington, died at 11:57 PM Monday, November 22, 2021, at the Arbor Court in Mount Pleasant.
Born April 4, 1953, in Fort Madison, she was the daughter of Edward Lee and Dorothy Frances Schroeder Scott. On December 17, 1989, she married Carl Parker in Salem, IA. He died on June 14, 1999.
She was a graduate of Burlington High School.
Beverly was a homemaker and helped around their farm.
She loved to sing and could be found singing karaoke. She enjoyed reading and playing pool. Most of all, Beverly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies.
Survivors include her son, Edward (Amanda) Parker of Wapello, IA; daughter, Delanie (Terelle) Parker-Brider of Monmouth, IL; five grandchildren, Alyssa Parker, Savion Parker, Tyler Anderson, Za'Riyah Brider and A'Miyah Brider; two brothers, Jeffrey Lee (Deb) Scott and Timothy Edward (Deana) Scott both of Burlington; one sister, Annette Fran Scott (Russ) Rankin of West Burlington; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, and one granddaughter, D'Niyah Brider.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM with the family to receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Monday, November 29, 2021 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home.
Private family burial will be held in Forest Home Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant at a later date.
A memorial has been established for her family.
