Carla Michelle Campbell

Carla Michelle Campbell, 61, of Burlington, passed peacefully at 5:55 AM Thursday, April 7th, 2022 at Danville Care Center in Danville, IA. 

Shelle was born October 25, 1960, in Louisiana, MO, she was the daughter of Franklin Eugene Pearl and Fannie Odessa Miller Chatman. 

She graduated high school at Central High in Davenport Iowa and attended Southeastern Community College.

Her favorite thing to do was taking care of people and spending time with family. She loved listening to all kinds of music, but some of her favorite artists where Bobby Womack, Rick Ross, and Jaheim just to name a few. She was adventurous and loved to travel. 

She is survived by her two daughters, Brandi Cartmill and Brittney Campbell; five grandchildren Indiyah, Jiyaz, Keymiya, Ka’Briya and Reiyna; ten siblings, Bruce Campbell, Carmen Cowen, Toni Pearl Barger, Chuck Pearl, Kevin Pearl, Avery Pearl, Joy Pearl, Angela Organ, Franklin Wilson and Rafus Wilson; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends that loved Shelle dearly.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father Fannie Chatman and Franklin Pearl, and siblings Crystal “Faith” Pearl, Melody “Tracy” Pearl, Frederick Campbell and Julie Pearl White.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM with the family to receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home.

Cremation will be entrusted to the Prugh Crematory.

A memorial service for Shelle will be in Louisiana, MO at a later date.
