Carol Wheeler Obituary
Mrs. Carol Jane Wheeler, 87, of Perry, died Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the Dallas County Hospital Hospice Care in Perry, Iowa.
Born October 7, 1936, in Moulton, IA, she was the daughter of Orley and Hazel Purdum.
She attended Moulton High School.
Carol enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, as well as a good shopping trip.
Survivors include daughter, Jackie McCord of Perry; son, Jeff (Carol) Wheeler of Altoona; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Brent and Lonny, two brothers, and six sisters.
The funeral service for Mrs. Wheeler will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Prugh's Chapel, 317 North 4th St, with Pastor JudyAnn Morse officiating. Burial will be in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
