Carolyn Faye Dunn

Carolyn Faye Dunn, 62, peacefully made her transition on Sunday, October 17th, 2021 at 3:59 pm, in the home where she resided. She was born July 11th, 1959, in Kentucky, she was the daughter of Clara and Bobby Dunn.

 

Carolyn attended Harlan High School in Chicago, IL in 1978, where she received her diploma.

 

Carolyn enjoyed drawing, reading all kinds of books, singing and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a catch phrase that everyone loved, she always said “I LOVE YOU VERY MUCCCHHHH!”

 

Carolyn is proceeded in death by her father Bobby Dunn and her son Kennth Dunn.

 

Carolyn is survived by her mother Clara Ellison, her children Earl Dunn, Jacqueline Dunn, Bobby Dunn, Michael Dunn, Dominique Dunn, Leroy Priest, Chiquita Priest, Nikkia Priest and DeShawn Priest. Her sisters Arletha Jefferson, Myra Haile, Patricia Madison, Melissa Dunn and Gloria Dunn and 1 brother Bobby Dunn. Carolyn has 21 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and friends, a significant other Keith Erwin, who will all miss her tremendously.

 

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM with the family to receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, October 22, 2021 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home.

 

Cremation has been entrusted to the Prugh Crematory after the visitation.

 

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for her grandkids.
