Connie Jo Nuebel, 66, formerly of Burlington, died and was rejoined with the love of her life, at 5:00 AM Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Pearl Valley Rehab in Muscatine.

Born January 13, 1955, in Burlington, IA, she was the daughter of John and Hazel Mae Stratton Petty. On June 12, 1975, she married Virgil Lee Nuebel in Burlington. He passed on May 4, 2018.

Connie enjoyed playing Bingo, Domino's and on the computer. She could be found our in her garden, that her husband designed for her or at the Casino Boat. She loved to spend time with her family and her dog and cats.

Survivors include her siblings Claudia Petty of Burlington, Bill (DiAnna) Petty of Wapello, Roberta (John) Hamilton of Burlington, Richard (Debbie) Petty of Denmark, Marsha Lucille Petty of Burlington, and Brenda (David) Larkin of Burlington, IA; her God Daughters, Amanda Jordan of Davenport, IA, and Misty Grelk of St Louis, MO and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Sally Gann, Linda Faulkner and Mary Grelk.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

There will be no visitation or services.
