Craig Raymond Green

Craig Raymond Green, 88, of Mediapolis, died Friday, April 26, 2024, at the Azria Health Prairie Ridge in Mediapolis.

Born June 14, 1935, in Burlington, IA, he was the son of George Raymond and Lucretia Margaret Brown Green. On June 20, 1965, he married Lois Ruth Macdonald in Las Vegas, NV.

Craig was a 1954 Morning Sun High School graduate and later went to serve his nation in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He was a member of the Mediapolis United Methodist Church and the Jaycees. He enjoyed gardening and wood working.

Craig's family include companion, Karen Hollingsworth of Mediapolis, IA; daughter, Kathleen (Michael) Smith; grandson, Jared Smith; step-children, Douglas Allen Worley, Richard Worley, and Brenda Jo Worley; three step-grandchildren; Shawn Worley, Craig Worley, and Amanda Worley; siblings, William Green, David Green, and Sarah Kress; and several nieces and nephews..

Sadly, Craig was preceded in death by his wife, Lois; and parents, George and Lucretia.

No services are scheduled at this time.

Craig will be laid to rest next to Lois at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Massachusetts.
