Josephine "Darlene" Johnson, 87, formerly of Burlington, died Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born December 15, 1936, in Burlington, IA, she was the daughter of Emil B. and Emma Lavina Kiersey Johnson.
She enjoyed watching television, coloring, eating sweets and playing with her cat, Oliver.
Survivors include her friends and caregivers at Morning Sun Care Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
Darlene will be laid to rest next to her parents in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
