Deborah Prickett

Deborah Mae Prickett, 69, of Burlington, died at 4:45 PM Saturday, June 26, 2021, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born July 18, 1951, in Burlington, IA, she was the daughter of Milo Wm and Della May Hirth. On October 11, 1974, she married Gary Virgil Prickett in Burlington, IA. 

Debi worked for Heil Ice Company, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of Huntsville, Alabama, and Burlington Trailways.  

She was a 1970 graduate of Burlington High School and graduated from Carl Sandburg College, Carthage, Illinois in 1997 with an Associate Degree in Accounting.    

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Relief Society of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, and making clothing for dogs.  

Survivors include husband, Gary Virgil Prickett of Burlington; and the members of her church family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

A celebration will be held at a later date.

A memorial has been established.
