Dena Jean Price

Dena Jean Price, 45, of Burlington, died Saturday, November 1, 2025, at her home.

Born December 28, 1979, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Michael "Joey" and Debra Moyers Daly. In May of 1998 she married Jeremy Price in Burlington. They later divorced. 

She graduated from Burlington High School in 1998 and later graduated from Kirkwood Community College as a Dental Assistant. 

Dena most recently worked as a cook. Prior to that she worked as a dental assistant in Chicago.

Dena was very creative. She liked making crafts and writing poetry. She enjoyed cooking. She was extremely caring and thoughtful of others.

Survivors include her parents, Debra and Michael "Joey" Daly, Jr. of Burlington; three daughters, Gabrielle Price, Jerrilynn Price, and Rose Carlson all of Burlington; sister, Mika Daly of Burlington; brother, Michael J. Daly, III of Burlington; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

The Memorial Mass of the Resurrection for Dena will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Divine Mercy Parish-St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Belger. Inurnment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date.

A memorial has been established for Transitions DMC.
