Denis Casey

Denis Casey, 64, of Oquawka, IL died Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

Born September 24, 1960, in Aurora, IL, he was the son of Buddy Allen and Carol J Davis Casey. On January 21, 1978, he married Eveline Braddy in Batavia, IL. 

Denis had worked in construction since he was 18 years old.

Denis loved watching NASCAR. He will be fondly remembered for his great sense of sarcasm and always giving his family and friends a hard time.

Survivors include his wife, Eveline Casey of Oquawka, IL; two sons, Denis Casey, Jr. of Kirkwood, IL and Kenny (Gaby) Casey of Hampshire, IL; two daughters, Shelby (Charlie) Czajkowski of Gladstone, IL and Heaven (Malachi Fischer-Porter) Casey of Peoria, IL; five grandchildren, Denis Casey III, Laine Gholson, Sebastian Martinez, Katalina Casey and Raelyn Czajkowski; and his mother, Carol J Casey of Oquawka, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
