Devin L. Titus

Devin L. Titus , 58, of Biggsville, died at 9:47 AM Wednesday, May 19, 2021.

Born June 16, 1962, in Burlington, he was the son of Lawrence Paul and Donna Jo Goddard Titus. On August 24, 1985, he married Jeanie Fluke in Berwick, IL. 

Devin graduated from Abingdon High School in 1980 in Abingdon, IL. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran stationed in Cuba for three years. He graduated from SCC with a degree in Bio Medical Technology.

He worked as an electrician for the IBEW Local 13 "Lucky 13" Electricians Union.

He enjoyed watching sports, especially football, and was a fan of the Chicago Bears and Cubs. He liked to go camping. Devin was known as a trivia buff. He liked to listen to 70's and 80's music, or as his family called it "Dad Rock". His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he loved to spend time with them.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanie; daughter, Kelli (Justin) Joyslin of Abingdon, IL; son, Kevin Titus of Biggsville, IL; two grandchildren, Claire and Caleb Joyslin; and four brothers, Delane (Nancy) Titus of Spokane, WA, Dana (Kay) Titus of Maple Park, IL, Daylin (Diane) Titus of Prince Frederick, MD, and David (Virginia) Titus of Mount Airy, MD.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. 

The Graveside Committal Service for Mr. Titus will be 1:00 PM Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery with Revered Rodney Kelso officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
