Dianne Dee (Silverio) Phillips, age 77, of Burlington, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington, Iowa.
She was the daughter of Ellery Henry Pepmeyer and Delores Jean Fouts Pepmeyer. She was married to James Silverio for 18 years and later divorced. They had two sons, Brett (Dee) Allen Silverio Sr. and Brian (Briana) James Silverio, both of Burlington, Iowa. She was married to John Phillips and later divorced.
Dianne was of Christian faith. She attended Burlington schools, and graduated from Burlington High School. Dianne worked at Sylvania for a few years and then worked at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant. After, she had her own cleaning business and also had a day care, which she enjoyed very much. She loved working with children.
Dianne enjoyed spending time and doing things with her boys and their families, grandkids and great grandkids. She loved cookouts and also talking with her family. She loved going to the Ozarks on the lake. She liked decorating, ice skating, working in the yard, dancing and helping others.
Survivors include her children, Brett (Dee) Silverio Sr. and Brian (Briana) Silverio; grandchildren, Brittany (Justin) Silverio, of Burlington, Brett (Bethany) Silverio Jr. of Lomax, IL; sister Susan Wardle of Springfield, IL; great grandchildren, Ayden Clay Weiss, Arya Rose Weiss, and Alaya Briar Weiss; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Kayla, Matt, and SueAnn Silverio; her parents, grandparents and great grandparents.
Cremation has been entrusted to Prugh Crematory. A celebration of life is being planned.
