I think my brother said it best, your dad was such a special part of lives growing up and I thank you for sharing him with us. Your video was beautiful, I hope you always remember the good times and special things he did for others. I will be thinking of all you!

David, Sharon, Marc, Rick, Martha and all, It brings sadness to hear of Don's passing. He truly was a good human being to all he met. He could cheer up most anyone and was truly blessed to have known your Dad for years. He was good to all of us. It was a pleasure to visit with Don when I would come back to visit and I was so happy he was able to know my son. I totally enjoyed the visit with him when he came to Tennessee to visit us.
Your dad will surely be missed and I know he is with the Angels. May God guide you all in healing of your loss. Don truly was a Angel while here on Earth and now he will be a Angel with the Lord. He will be missed

So sorry to hear of Donovans passing. Throughout my time at Blairhouse I was very lucky to get to know Donovan. He was certainly a special man and had a great sense of humor. I enjoyed looking through his album of pictures listening to the many stories he had to tell. He truly touched many lives and will be missed!

David, Barb and family,
We were sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. No matter their age, it is still very difficult to lose a parent. We will not be able to make the funeral but you will be in our thoughts.

Condolences from me and my family! As you all can attest, Don meant a lot to us and always was there to help out our mother any time she needed it. He helped me with my first job, my first hunt and taking us fishing as well as other things. I will always be happy to say he was my friend and to know all of you as friends as well and to have the memories we have with Don and you!

So sorry to hear of Donovan's passing...he was certainly a character! Always with a quick come-back and twinkle in his teasing eyes. I just saw a picture that I had taken of Donovan (& Kari) when he came back to Blair House after his first admission. He was dressed as Santa and passed out goodies, along with his elf-David as his side kick! Please know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers...

I was very honored to get to know your dad while I worked at Blair House. I enjoyed talking to him and having in activities. I will never forget that big smile and that twinkle in his eye, and those wild pants he wore. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
