Edward Wesley Huss Jr.

Edward Wesley Huss Jr., age 95, died peacefully at his home per his wishes, on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

Born November 22, 1928, he was the son of Edward Wesley and Helen Verne Hunter Huss. 

Edward was a very independent man.  He took great pride in being self sufficient and doing things his own way.  He enjoyed working and worked a variety of jobs; working on the railroad, repairing televisions and even growing and selling produce from the roadside.  He also enjoyed gambling in his free time.  

His family include his children, Wesley Huss, Barbara Jean Peck, Cathy (Michael) Stogdill, April (George) Lynn Hayes, and Rose Marie Garner; eighteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Sadly, he was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers, Glen Gorshe, James Huss, Lyle Huss Sr. Gerald Huss, Nathan Huss and Clayton Huss, and four sisters, Gail Fernald, Gladys Huss, Geneva Stewart and Georgia Kenney; and great granddaughter Bailey.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

A memorial service for Edward will be scheduled at a later time.  Service details will be posted when they become available.
