Ethel Williams Obituary

Ethel Frances Williams, 82, of Burlington, died Friday, March 27, 2026, at her home.

Born August 5, 1943, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Frank Seivert and Ruby Irene McIntire Hendrickson. On October 12, 1969, she married Roger Lee Williams in Olena, IL.  

Ethel was a photographer and a party planner for many years.

She was a devoted member of Faith Bible Church, where her faith and fellowship were an important part of her life. Ethel especially enjoyed crocheting and crafting, spending countless hours creating beautiful handmade pieces.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Williams of Burlington; six children, Aaron (Lindy) Williams of Danville, Jason Williams of Washington, IL, Laurel (Jeff Good) Williams of Burlington, and Angie Hendrickson of Monmouth, IL; Paula (Steve) Haight of Cedar Rapids and Linda Wagner of Wever; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, Melvin, Dan, Wayne, Clyde, Jim, Lawrence and Earl Henrickson, and one sister, Betty Hosack.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

A celebration of life for Mrs. Williams will be 6:00 PM, Monday, April 6, 2026, at Faith Bible Church of Oquawka.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Faith Bible Church.
