Georgia Mae Walker, 80, of Burlington, died Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born March 23, 1946, in Stronghurst, IL, she was the daughter of George and Viola Bundy Waterman. On August 1, 1963, she married Ronald Walker in Burlington.
She was a graduate of Stonghurst High School.
Georgia worked for Great River Medical Center for many years until her retirement.
She lived a simple life and enjoyed playing slots occasionally and bingo.
Survivors include her husband, Ron Walker of Burlington; daughter, Carol (Rick) Bressner of Peru, IL; two grandchildren, Alysha Donlan of Pittsburgh, PA and Kyler Donlan of La Salle, IL; sister, Edna Keaver of Gladstone, IL and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Richard Walker, and five siblings, Gladys Bigger, Kathern Waterman, Pearl Mabe, Edith Crawford and Ernie Waterman.
The visitation for Georgia will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Friday, August 21, 2026 at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division Street.
