Jack E. Meeker

Jack Edwin Meeker was born on June 27,1978 in Burlington, Iowa.  Jack passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on June 2, 2026.  Jack spent most of his life in Burlington and he also lived in Madison, Wisconsin for a short time.

He was the son of Edwin Meeker and Anita Thornton Meeker. He attended Burlington area schools. He previously worked at Camden and Highland Railroad, several construction companies, and lawncare jobs.  He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, traveling and visiting with his family and friends.  He was a handyman and enjoyed helping friends and neighbors.  He was a fan of the Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers. He attended their games at Madison and Green Bay. He was a Packers Shareholder.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, two uncles and an aunt in infancy.  He is survived by his parents, his stepfather Tim Pella, daughter Ashton Leigh Meeker, brother Benjamin Pella (Angie), aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews Max Pella and Ian Pella. 

Cremation will occur per his family's wishes.  No visitation or services are scheduled at this time.
