Jack Patton

Jack Patton, 65, of Burlington, died at 11:20 PM Sunday, October 3, 2021. 

Born October 30, 1955, in Burlington, he was the son of Dennis and Viola Mae Dodge Patton. On December 14, 1996, he married Evelyn Lucille Buckley in Middletown.

Jack worked for McCabe's Tree Service for many years. 

He enjoyed camping, fishing, working on cars and spending time with his nephew. He was known as a handyman and liked to make spoon rings and wind chimes out of silver. 

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn of Dexter, NY; sons, Gayle Edward (Laura) Stoneking of Florida and James Franklin (Becky) Burnett of New York; daughters, Katrina Marie (Mike) Hammer of Des Moines, Jamie Jean Burnett of Oklahoma, Gayla Louise (Faron) Payne of Oklahoma, Melissa Dawn Agnew of New York, and Ashley Myers of Mediapolis; sisters, Bonnie (Ed) Hartman of Burlington, Sandra (Bruce) Hardy of Colorado Springs, CO, and Marjorie Bell of Burlington; brothers, Robert and Jerry Patton both of Burlington; 28 grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Steven, and two sisters, Nancy and Susan. 

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

There will be no visitation or services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
