Jacquelyn Meyer Obituary

Jacquelyn “Jackie” Ann Meyer, 76, of Gladstone, Illinois, went home to be with the Lord August 2, 2021. She was laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery in Galesburg, Illinois.

Jackie was born July 24, 1945, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Earl Melvin Mills and Hildegard Juanita (Downing) Mills. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. An avid crafter and skilled at sewing, she especially loved quilting. Many who knew her were blessed with gifts of her handiwork. She will be greatly missed.

Jackie is survived by her husband Dane Meyer of Gladstone, her son Phillip L. Thacker of Columbia MO, and grandchildren Ian Thacker, Tasha Thacker and Cayton Thacker.

She was preceded in death by her brother Jerry Mills, her son Larry E. Thacker and her stepdaughter Kaycee (Meyer) Robinson.
