Jeniyah Amira Minyon Hunt

Jeniyah Amira Minyon Hunt, 1 month, of Burlington, died at 7:07 AM Thursday, January 14, 2021, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born December 8, 2020, she was the daughter of  Tyesha and Elgin Hunt.

Survivors include her parents, Tyesha and Elgin Hunt both of Burlington; sisters, Malaika Hunt and Traciana Green of Bowling Green, KY; brothers, Rashon, Elgin and Emarious Hunt of Sikeston, MO; maternal grandmother, Teresa Wilson of St. Louis, MO; paternal grandfather, Joe Cannon of Anamosa, IA; aunts, Ashley Wilson and Destiny (Angel) Harris all of Burlington; uncle, Donshae Staten of Burlington; great-uncle, Willie (Latonya) Wilson III of Fort Wayne, IN; paternal great-grandmother, Kathleen McGlown Adamson of Helmet, California; great-aunts, Monica Thompson of Burlington, Falisa (Darrick) Carter of Hot Springs, CO, and Shalonda Perkins of Burlington; great-great-aunt, Georgie Thompson of Davenport, IA; great-great-uncle, Iva Thompson of Burlington; maternal god-grandparent, John (Diane) Anthony of Burlington; god-aunts, Essence Anthony and Shankieka Tucker both of Burlington; god-uncles, Calvin Tucker of Fort Madison, IA, Tommy Jackson of Burlington and Cassidime Tucker; and she leaves behind a host of cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandmother, Betty Jean Wilson, great-uncle, Jeremy Hunt, Sr. and paternal grandfather, Willie J Savage.

The funeral service for Jeniyah will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 25, 2021 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Campbell officiating. Inurnment will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
