John J. Miller

John Joseph Miller, 87, formerly of St. Louis, MO, died Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born January 9, 1939, in Cheyenne, WY, he was the son of Roy and Bessie (Brown) Miller.  John proudly served his country with the U.S Army. 

Joe loved St. Louis, Hannibal and the Quincy area.  He enjoyed watching the Cardinal's play baseball in the summer, taking walks and playing pool.

Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Haden; nephews, Dave Haden, Steven (Marge) Haden, and Eric Haden; great niece, Courtney (Mitchell) Miller, and great nephew, Seth Haden.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Betty Lou, Bessie June and Rob Roy; and brother-in-law, Okie Haden.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

A memorial service for Joe will be held in the summer and further information will be published when it becomes available.
