Jonna Golliday

Jonna Golliday, 59, of Burlington, died Sunday, September 18, 2022, at the Savannah Heights in Mount Pleasant.

Born July 4, 1963, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Laverne "Red" Marvin and Wilmetta Golliday. 

She worked at Shearer's on the cleaning crew.

Jonna loved to fish, camp, and spend time with her family. Even though she couldn't eat them, she enjoyed hunting for morel mushrooms. 

Survivors include her daughter, Sarah (Jacob) Myers of Fort Madison; two grandkids, Lilly & Hunter Myers; brother, Bernie (Jane ) Golliday of Burlington; and sister, Marie Hobby.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Crapo Park in the shelter house by the pond.
