Julie White Obituary

Julie M. White, 61, formerly of Chicago, passed 5:32 AM Saturday, September 5, 2020, in Wapello, IA.

Born May 8, 1959, in Louisiana, Missouri she was the daughter of Franklin E. Pearl and Fannie Odessa Miller Chatman. She married Darryl White in Silvis, IL; they later separated.

She graduated from Louisiana High School in Missouri. She then attended SCC and received her CNA. She continued her education at Malcolm X college in Chicago where she studied psychology. She was passionate about her education and had an insatiable appetite for learning new things.

Julie had a passion for taking care of others. She spent the majority of her career as a CNA on the West side of Chicago caring for elderly clients in their homes, always making sure they felt cared for and loved, as if they were her own grandparents. When Julie became ill, she moved to Wapello, IA where she eventually passed from complications of a stroke.

Julie was a funny and kind individual. She had a great heart, but if you crossed her she would let you know. Julie had an adventurous spirit. She loved to travel and see new things and places and was never afraid to start over anywhere. She loved to get dressed up. Julie was very close with her siblings and extended family and always kept in touch with them. She loved her grandmother and grandfather, Dorothy and Eugene Bryant, very much and could do no wrong in their eyes. She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Darryl; five children: Lanasha Morgan, Shaunda Campbell and Willie Campbell all of Burlington, Nathaniel Morgan, Jr. of Plainfield, IL, and Andrew Morgan of Chicago, IL; 11 grandchildren: Saquiriez Baker, Zysean Baker, Kanyae Baker, Xzavion Baker, Saniyaa Morgan, Kaviyah Morgan, Jakari Henderson, Ashlynn Washington, Kyree Wilkerson, Ayvien Campbell and Andrew Morgan II; three great-grandchildren: Myles Baker, Jamari Fuchs, and Adeylla Wilkerson; ten siblings: Rafus Wilson, Franklin Pearl, Jr., Bruce Campbell, Avery Pearl, Kevin Pearl, Chuck Pearl, Carla Campbell, Carmen Cowan, Toni Barger and Joy Stewart; and several nieces and nephews.
