Justine Dailey Todd

Justine Dailey Todd , 70, of Burlington, died at 1:50 AM Monday, March 15, 2021, at the Windmill Manor in Coralville, Iowa.

Born September 16, 1950, in Burlington, IA, she was the daughter of Edward William and Mary Jane Melland Dailey. 

She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and the University of Iowa with a BA in education and a Master's Degree in counseling. Justine was a writer, teacher, a researcher and had her own management consulting firm.

She enjoyed playing the piano, practicing her French, cooking gourmet cuisine, journaling by the Mississippi River and walking her beloved dog, Monsieur Willey Goustond in Crapo Park.

Survivors include her son, Robert (Lindsay) Todd; daughter, Mary-Justine (Mohamed Mukhtar) Todd; siblings: Edward Dailey, Shean Catherine Kovach, Diana (Terry) Nollen, Ellen Dailey, Rita (Larry) Vennard, Brian Thomas (Jill) Dailey, Eric (Anne) Dailey, and  Regina (Jim) Dailey - Hays and many nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, John Dailey, Katherine Dailey, Patricia Bauernfeind and Greg Dailey. 

Visitation will be from noon until 5:00 PM Friday, March 19, 2021 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home.

Due to the concerns surrounding Covid-19, the family has requested that all attendance practice social distancing and wear masks. 

The graveside service for Ms. Todd will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
