Kathy M Hagmeier

Kathryn Minnette Hagmeier, 74, formerly of Montrose, IA, died Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Bloomfield Care Center in Bloomfield, IA.

Born October 31, 1951, in Keokuk, IA, she was the daughter of Warren Bihn. 

She graduated from Central Lee High School. Kathy worked for Methode Electronics in Carthage, Illinois 20 years.

She found happiness in the simple and meaningful things in life. She loved antiques and admired the beauty and stories behind unique treasures. She also had a special affection for animals found joy in nurturing plants and creating a warm environment around her.

Survivors include her sons, Matthew Hagmeier of Graham, NC, and Clint Hagmeier of Donnelson, IA; three grandchildren, Jill Hagmeier of Donnelson, Zack Hagmeier of Highland, IL, and Jesse Hagmeier of Argyle, IA; and two great-grandchildren, Weston Hagmeier and Rinley Hagmeier both of Argyle, IA.

She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Richard Bihn.
