Kathy Ann Jarvis

Kathy Ann Jarvis, 66, of Burlington, died Thursday, June 6, 2024, at her home.

Born August 22, 1957, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Frank Herbert and Bonnie Lee Denny Jarvis. 

Kathy worked for the school bus system. She also worked from Des Moines County, helping with snow removal.

She enjoyed collecting rocks, wheat pennies and little trinkets. She loved watching movies, including her favorite "Still Games". She was always there to help her friends and family, even changing a tire for her friend's sister on Christmas. Kathy had a great love for animals and nature. 

Survivors include two daughters, Marilea Reusch-Twyman and Jenifer Marie Jarvis; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren;  two brothers, Robert William Jarvis of Ottumwa and William Graham of Burlington; three sisters, Diane Kay Baxter of Ottumwa, Irene (Marc) Beggs of Burlington and Barbara Marie Cooksey of Ottumwa; and four nieces and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Steven Martz.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
