Kedarie Pierre Johnson

Kedarie Pierre Johnson, 16, of Burlington, died at 11:44 PM Wednesday, March 2, 2016, in Burlington.

Born July 5, 1999, in Chicago, IL, he was the son of Ivan Parker and Katrina Johnson. 

He was a Junior at  Burlington High School 

He enjoyed spending his time dancing, particularly at Maple Leaf Center. He loved singing, listening to music, doing his hair, hanging out with friends, and surfing the Internet.

Survivors include his father, Ivan Parker of Chicago, IL; his mother, Katrina (Demetrius) Johnson of Burlington; one brother, Cedric Peterson of Burlington; one sister, Nijah Johnson of Chicago, IL; his maternal grandfather, Melvin Hudson of Chicago, IL; his maternal grandmother, Burnette Lee; his maternal great-grandmother, Sylvia Hudson; his paternal grandmother, Kathy Parker of Chicago, IL; numerous cousins including, Kenya Hudson, Ashley Johnson, and Shanelle Hudson; and numerous aunts and uncles, including, Monique Johnson, Jerrell Johnson, Gary Hudson, Oterah Hudson, Pamela Hudson, Candace Hudson, Clifford Hudson, and Frank (Debra Rogers) Hudson.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sheree Johnson.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Burlington High School Carl Johannsen Gymnasium, where the family will receive friends.

The funeral service for Kedarie will be 6:00 PM Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Burlington High School Carl Johannsen Gymnasium with Pastor Nathan Williams officiating.   Burial will be in Restvale Cemetery, Alsip IL. 

A memorial has been established.
