Kerry Kelly Obituary

Kerry Lynn Kelly, 54, of West Burlington, died Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington.

Born November 21, 1969, in Burlington, IA, he was the son of Frederick  and Margaret  Graf Kelly. On August 3, 1991, he married Judy  Coleman in Danville, IA. 

 Kerry worked for Keurig Dr. Pepper for 29 years. He started off working as a driver, vending technician, route supervisor, and finally a sales rep for the last 20 years.

He was a member of Unity Lutheran Church. Kerry enjoyed bowling and will be inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame on July 12, 2024. He also enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals and the Iowa Hawkeye Football team. Kerry was also known to enjoy a good episode of Friends.  Most of all, Kerry loved spending time with his wife and daughters. They were truly his pride and joy. Kerry will be most remembered for his sense of humor. He always had the goal to make interactions with him light, and to make sure he got a laugh out of everyone.

Survivors include his parents; Frederick and Margaret Kelly of West Burlington, IA, wife, Judy Kelly of West Burlington, IA, daughter, Laurel Kelly of West Burlington, IA, daughter, Joleen Kelly of West Burlington, IA, brother, Kristopher (Patti) Kelly of Norseland, MN, brother, Kurt (Michaela) Kelly of Snohomish, WA, sister, Becky (Glen Trey Martin) Runyan of Cedar Falls, IA.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, brother, Kevin Kelly and sister, Dolores Kelly.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

A loving celebration of life will be held Friday, August 9, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 2727 Mt Pleasant Street. 

A memorial has been established for University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children's Hospital.
