Obituary
Kevin Wayne Springsteen, 54, of Burlington, died Sunday, September 3, 2023, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born June 10, 1969, in Burlington, he was the son of Larry Lee and Donna Sue Laue Springsteen. On August 21, 2004, he married Anna Druppel in Burlington.
He graduated from Mediapolis High School. Kevin formerly did janitorial work for Winegard and most recently worked for Pizza Ranch.
He enjoyed watching TV, especially Seinfeld and sports, playing video games and going to watch the Burlington Bees. Kevin loved his 3 cats and spending time with his wife.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Anna Springsteen of Burlington; mother, Donna Sue Springsteen of Burlington; two brothers, Brian Springsteen of Burlington, Larry "Bud" Lee Springsteen, Jr. of Poultney, VT; and two sisters, Tammy Sue Ita of Burlington, Joan (Eric) Westcott of Massena, NY.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
The Graveside Committal Service for Mr. Springsteen will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 8, 2023, at Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Wally Reynolds officiating.
