Kim Andrews

Kim Marie Andrews, 69, of Burlington, died Monday, September 15, 2025, at her home.

Born August 16, 1956, in Muscatine, IA, she was the daughter of Henry and Rosie Bender Munson. On November 27, 1974, she married John William Andrews in Burlington. 

Kim worked for many companies over the years including, Hope Haven, Vista Bakery, and at Briarwood Estates in Baytown, TX as a grounds keeper.

Kim's life was centered around the people she loved most, her family. While she didn't take part in many activities, her deep devotion to her family and dogs was the heart of everything she did. 

Survivors include her husband, John Andrews of Burlington; three children, Sonny (Julie) Andrews of Burlington, John (Heather) Andrews, II of Phoenix, AZ, and Heather (James) Howell of West Burlington; several grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Tammy Hessenflow of MO, four brothers, Bud Munson of MO, Steve Munson of IA, Robbie Munson of NE, and Terri Munson of MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Casey Andrews.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

Visitation will be from noon until 6:00 PM with the family to receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM,  Thursday September 18, 2025 at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division Street.
