Lloyd Eugene Hill

Lloyd Eugene Hill, 78, of Burlington, died Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at his home surrounded by family.

Born February 16, 1945, in Plymouth, IN, he was the son of Clarence and Maxine Harris Hill. 

He graduated from Bourbon High School and began a career at UPS. After he retired from UPS, he started his own construction company. Through the years he became everyone’s handyman, never telling anyone no, no matter how much he had to work. Lloyd was kind, fair, and always made sure he left you with the knowledge to do it yourself. He loved his family, friends and animals. Lloyd was also a member of the Moose.

Lloyd is loved and missed by his wife of 50 years, Jacque, children Lyna, Sherry, Jill, Michelle and Julia. His siblings Ron, Patricia, Linda and Mary, along with several in-laws, cousins, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 315 South Marshall St. Burlington, IA 52601.
