Margaret Jane Watson , 65, of Kirkwood, died at 3:20 AM Friday, May 14, 2021, at the OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg.

Born September 15, 1955, in Aurora, IL, she was the daughter of Floyd "Briggs" E. and Dorothy Louise Schilb Remick. On November 22, 1987, she married Darrell Lynn Watson in Lincoln, IL.

She worked for the Review Atlas Newspaper.

She was an excellent cook, and collected cook books. She enjoyed canning and baking and was known for her crème puffs, homemade noodles, and angel food cake. She also liked to do puzzles, play cards and create yarn paintings.

Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Louise Remick of La Harpe, IL; husband, Darrell Lynn Watson of Kirkwood, IL; four daughters, Crystal (Tyler) Jones of Biggsville, IL, Margaret (Richard) Rasmussen of Goldfield, IA, Dorothy (Billy) Schultz of Macomb, IL, and Barbara Lovell-Gaylord of Macomb, IL; three sons, James (Jessica) Gaylord of Blair, NE, Martin Gaylord of Blair, NE, and Larry Gaylord of Abbingdon, IL; two brothers, Leroy Remick of Kennwick, WA, and Floyd "Jim" (Linda) Remick of West Point, IA; 20 grandchildren; and tons of nieces and nephews..

She was preceded in death by her father, one sister, Veronica Ellefritz, one grandson, Cody and one step son, D.R.

There will be a private family internment at a later date.
