Mark Allen Deggendorf

Mark Allen Deggendorf, 62, passed away on April 22, 2022 unexpectedly at his home of natural causes. 

He was born on April 12th, 1960 in Monticello, Iowa to Robert (Bob) Deggendorf and Ruby Sharon (Dill) Deggendorf.

Mark grew up in Burlington, Iowa. He graduated from Burlington Community High School in 1978. After high school he attended Southeast Missouri State College in Cape Girardeau, MO with his Bachelor of Science degree in 1983. Following College he moved to Colorado Springs, Co where he ended up working for the El Paso County Motor Vehicles Department and retired after 25 years of service.

Mark enjoyed traveling and took many trips with friends to the Caribbean and took a couple of trips to Deggendorf Germany. Mark was also a certified scuba diver. He enjoyed spending time with friends, family and had a love for Carin Terrier's leaving behind his dog Sydney that was family to him.

Mark is survived by his mother Ruby Sharon (Dill) Deggendorf of Burlington, IA. Brothers Mike (Judy) Deggendorf of Bonner Springs, KS. Steve (Angie) Deggendorf of Danville, IA. Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be from noon until 4:00 PM with the family to receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home.
