Nancy K. Booth, 65, of Burlington, died Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City.
Born October 25, 1959, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Donald John and Joyce Elane Babb Cornwell. On August 21, 1981, she married Duane Joseph Booth in Morristown, NJ.
She graduated from West Deptford High School in New Jersey in 1978.
Nancy lived and worked in many communities over the years. She started working for Netilles Girls and Boys Shop in Kingsport, TN in the early 80's. She moved to the Burlington area next and started working for Burlington Medical Center as a nursing aid. When she moved to Wichita, KS around 1984, she worked in the daycare at Broadway Christian Church. Nancy's most important roll was caring for her home and family.
She enjoyed crocheting, solving murder mysteries and gathering family history.
Survivors include her husband, Duane of Burlington; two daughters, Sarah (Duckie) Bowen of Burlington, and Jenna (Justin) Turner of Danville; three grandchildren, Elora Bowen, Lydia Bowen, and William Bowen; sister-in-law, Bernice Stoffel of Knoxville, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Kathleen Stiteler.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
There will be no public services. Burial will be in Carman Cemetery.
