Patricia L. Brown

Patricia L. Roxlau Brown, 88, of Burlington, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the OakView Nursing Home and Rehabilitation in Burlington.

Born September 25, 1935, in Burlington, IA, she was the daughter of Arthur Roxlau and Dorothy May Arpe Roxlau Hill. She was raised by Mother and "Smokey" Joe Hill. She married Dennis L. Brown, April 28, 1958, at Grace United Methodist Church. 

Pat Graduated from Burlington High School. 

Patricia worked for Ross Manufacturing, Sylvania, and retired from General Electric. 

Survivors include husband of 65 years, Dennis L. Brown; son, Michael J. Brown; daughter, Linda Sue Brown, Spiker, Metcalf; sister, Joann Hill Bryant, Harry Joseph Hill (Mitizi), of Carthage, Il, and Paula (Mike) Jakub of Manassas, VA; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; two infant brothers, brother, Paul Rocky Roxlau (Phyllis), Bonnie White, and Betty Grabill.
