Renee Sue Baylark, 59, of Burlington, died Monday, July 14, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born March 24, 1966, in Burlington, she was the daughter of William Harry Lohmann and Rosemary Ann Ballard Harmon. On February 14, 2003, after many years of a loving relationship, she married Anthony Baylark in Burlington.
She graduated from Burlington High School in 1984 and later earned an associate degree from Southeastern Community College in 2014.
Throughout her career, Renee worked at Casey’s, J.I. Case, Allgood Animal Hospital, and most recently, Big Lots.
She had a joyful spirit and loved yard sales, dancing to music, and drawing. Renee’s faith was strong with a deep love for the Lord, reading the bible and lived her life with compassion and selflessness, always putting the needs of others before her own. More than anything, she cherished time spent with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony; three children, Ashley (Seth) Baylark, Kiandra (Jayde) Baylark and Anthony (Autumn) Baylark all of Burlington; 11 grandchildren, Dacia, Arianna, Brianna, Kaydyn, Aydrian, Augustine, Aries, Jonathan, Emori, Benton, and Rinoa; four great-grandchild, Kaelynne, Kaliyah, Attikus, and Daxton,; three siblings, Eugene (Andrea) Shultz of AL, Brenda (Dave) Harmon-Pillow of Perry, IA, and Jamie (Michele) Lohmann of Burlington; brothers-in-law, Randy Baylark, Lonnie Baylark, and Dexter Baylark; sisters-in-law, Janice Baylark, Laverne Tabron, Ramona (Danny) Smith, Kim Baylark, and Rachel Baylark; close family, Shirley Mae (Chuck) Bowman, Pam York, Amanda (Lile) Suesens, Nicole Suesens, Lynsey Brobston, Cynthia Altemus, Victoria Altemus; and several extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and close family, Robinette Shanklin and Joy Holbert.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
The family will hold a service at a later date.
