Richard Ervin Miller

Richard E. Miller, 83, of Wever, died Friday, February 7, 2025, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born October 19, 1941, in Burlington, IA, he was the son of Ervin and Julia Jean Vahle Miller.

Richard spent his life farming and deeply cared for his land.  He loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren whether it was in the fields working or just on the porch drinking kool-aid and watching cows in the pasture. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

His family includes his wife of 56 years, Linda; daughter, Laura (Joe) Christofferson of Burlington, IA; son, Eric Miller of Burlington, IA; daughter, Gail Miller of Wever, IA; son, Chris (Theresa) Miller of Wever, IA; daughter, Wendy Miller, of Ft. Madison; grandchildren, Joshua Miller, Trent Miller, Mariah (Miller) Campbell, Carissa McClellan, Paris McClellan, and Brayden McClellan; seven great grandchildren; and sister, Judy (Robert) Hoyer.  

Sadly, Richard is preceded in death by parents, Ervin and Julia Jean; and sister, Jeanine (Ron) Rose. 

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.  No services have been scheduled.
