Richard Lewis Huston, 82, of McKenzie, TN, formerly of West Burlington, IA, died at 7:30 PM Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in McKenzie, TN .
Born February 23, 1939, in Aledo, IL, he was the son of Lytle Lewis and Elsie Gluba Huston. On August 18, 1981, he married Mary Jane Lamb in Burlington, Iowa. She died on May 10, 2020.
Richard was a farmer and loved fishing and hunting.
He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bryan (Amanda) Huston of Mckenzie, TN, and Bradley (Ginger) Huston of New London; three step-daughters, Karen (David) Tweed of Galesburg, IL, Judith Heath of Cedar Rapids, Merri (Rod) Haight of Robins, IA; two step-sons, Mark (Janelle) Talley of Burlington, Wayne (Kim) Talley of Burlington; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Candy Woods of Galesburg, IL.
Besides his wife of 38 years, he was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Martin Houston.
A graveside committal service will be 11:00 AM Monday, May 16, 2022 at Burlington memorial Park Cemetery.
