Rickie Dee Moler

Rickie Moler, 64, of Burlington, died Friday, January 31, 2025, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington.

Born October 25, 1960, in Burlington, he was the son of Benjamin Lee and Wilma Lucille Pritchard Moler. He graduated from Mediapolis High School. He married Jill Ruschill and they were later divorced. 

Rickie worked at the U.S. Gypsum Plant in Mediapolis for 19 years and then had a few other Supervisor jobs over the years.

Rickie loved watching any University of Iowa athletics, especially wrestling and also followed Mediapolis High School Wrestling. He was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his brother, Randie Moler of Burlington; two nephews, Scottie Moler of Springfield, IL and Nathan Moler of Mt. Pleasant, two nieces, Ashley Ruiz of Tucson, AZ and Lindsey Howe of Dallas City, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ronnie Moler and nephew, Brandon Moler.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

There will be no visitation or services.
