Ronald Charles Beening Jr. "Bean", 74, of Burlington, died Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born August 7, 1950, in Chicago, IL, he was the son of Ronald Charles and Enez Pernila (Anderson) Beening.
He was a Journeyman Plumber and Pipe Fitter and worked at the Ordinance Plant for 10 years.
Ronald came to Burlington over 40 years ago, on a plumbing job out of Chicago. He loved the area and decided to make his home here in Burlington where he made many good friends. Over the years, he loved his dogs as his family. He enjoyed music and played the violin.
Survivors include his sister, Lynn Steiner of Bellwood, IL and three nephews, Glen (Monica) Steiner, David (Genie) Steiner, and John (Donna) Steiner. Also, six great nieces and nephews: Kelsey (Michael) Walz, Collin (Amy), Kirsten, Kyle, Shelby and Jackson Steiner, and one great-grand nephew, Ezra.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
There will be no services at this time.
