Ruth Delores Wyborny

Ruth Delores Wyborny, 90, of Burlington, died Sunday, May 5, 2024, at her home.

Born May 12, 1933, in Burlington, she was the daughter of George A. and Lavina F. Hancock Tenhaaf. On July 26, 1956, she married Bertrand "Bud" L. Wyborny in Yankton, SD. He preceded her in death on January 30, 1973.

She graduated from Sperry High School. Ruth was a secretary at Wyborny Insurance Agency and agent with her husband until the time of his death. She later worked at First National Bank.

She LOVED reading and animals, especially dogs and cats. 

Survivors include many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, and one niece.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

Ruth will be buried in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
