Stephanie Anne Vollmer

Stephanie Anne Vollmer, 45, passed away Saturday, August 8th at her home in Mount Pleasant. Born November 6th, 1980, she was the daughter of Shirley and David Crose.

Stephanie was born and raised in Burlington. She graduated from Burlington High School, class of 1999. She subsequently attended Southeastern Community College to obtain her LPN, while raising her young daughter as a single mom.

Stephanie was a top-notch nurse, always caring for her residents with a kind, compassionate, empathetic heart.  If she knew you were sad, angry, or just needed to laugh, she would be right there with you, cracking jokes to make you smile.

Stephanie’s children were her pride and joy. She loved being with her family; countless weekends and summers were spent hosting stay-overs with her numerous nieces and nephews. Whenever Stephanie and her siblings got together, there were good laughs had and memories made.

Stephanie’s passing leaves a profound emptiness, but her memory will live on through her loved ones.

Survivors include her two children, Elayna Estrada and Zander Vollmer; Mother, Shirley Crose; siblings, David (Sarah) Crose, Lindsey (Luke) Van Order, and Barbara (Colter) Jarrett; nieces and nephews, Cooper, Cadence, Maverick, Macyn, Kinnick, Carver, Ryker, Emma, Bentley, Carter, and Cora.

Stephanie is preceded in death by her father, David, whom she has been reunited with in heaven.

No visitation or services are currently scheduled.
