Stryder A. Thomas

Stryder Allen Thomas, 33, of Burlington, died Saturday, May 25, 2024, in West Burlington, Iowa.

Born May 25, 1991, in Burlington, IA, Stryder was the son of Larry and Veronnica Rice Thomas. On October 23, 2010, he married Adrianna Reynolds.

Stryder worked for Winegard Company for 11 years. His recent occupation was at Hearth and Home Technologies in Mt. Pleasant.

Stryder was a hard worker who believed in completing the tasks that were laid out before him.  He liked hunting, motorcycles, and enjoyed all things Batman (including, tattoos, novelty license plates, and paraphernalia of all sorts).  Moreover, Stryder loved his family.  His wife and children meant the world to him.  His passing leaves an emptiness, but his memory will be carried by all who love him.

Stryder's family includes his wife of 13 years, Adrianna Thomas; children, Lydia Thomas, Zayne Thomas, Tobias Thomas, and Korbin Thomas; his father, Larry Thomas; his mother, Veronnica (Charles) Gonzalez; six siblings, Kelly Rice, Brian Jones, Darion (Alisa) Thomas, Gabriel Thomas, Xavier Thomas, and Max Gonzalez; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A cremation has been arranged in accordance with the family's wishes.

A Celebration of Life for Stryder is scheduled for Saturday, July 13th, 11 am at Prugh Funeral Service (3940 Division Street, Burlington).  A luncheon will follow the service also at the funeral home.
