Terry McCannon

Terry Lynn McCannon, 64, of Burlington, died at 10:46 PM Friday, August 20, 2021, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington.

Born June 19, 1957, in Iowa City, IA, he was the son of Lloyd Albert and Joan Louise Pence McCannon.  

Terry worked for Pepsi for over 20 years. But his passion was working on cars, and could always be found in the garage working on something. 

He was a member of the Burlington Eagles #150. Terry was a die hard Chicago Cub's fan and also enjoyed watching Nascar. He spent a lot of time at 34 Raceway, cheering on his team and repairing the car. 

Survivors include his brother, Kevin (Cindy) McCannon of Burlington; sister, Cindy (Steve) Robinson of Burlington, IA, several nieces and nephews and aunt, Sandy McCannon of Burlington.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Debbie Casady and one niece Angelia Warf.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

The Graveside Committal Service for Mr. McCannon will be 11:00 AM Friday, August 27, 2021, at Carman Cemetery in Carman, IL.

A Celebration of Life for Terry will be from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Eagles Club.
