Terry A. Stephenson

Terry Stephenson, 73, of Burlington, died Thursday, August 17, 2023.

Terry was born August 27, 1949, the son of Ila Stephenson Miller and Gerald Miller.

Terry was a dedicated and hard worker.  He worked a number of positions throughout his life, starting with the Heil Ice Company, then a number of years as a grounds man at Aspen Grove Cemetery, and finally working at Walmart.  He would mow his neighbor's yards for extra money.  Terry loved cars as well, and would spend a lot of time thinking about which one he would like to buy next.  Terry also loved his dogs and spending time with his family. 

Terry's family include his siblings, Ila Jacobs, Diana Thompson, Jerry Miller, Mary Stewart, and Bradley Miller; several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mom and step-dad, Ila and Gerald; and sister, Lisa Miller.

A simple cremation has been arranged through Prugh Funeral Services in accordance with his wishes.  

Memorials can be made to the Des Moines County Humane Society.
