Obituary

Anthony "Tony" Lyn Myers, 60, of Burlington, died Sunday, April 2, 2023, at the Danville Care Center in Danville.

Born July 14, 1962, in Burlington, IA, he was the son of Hazel Marie Myers. Tony married Marilea Twyman, but later divorced. He then married Peggy Hicks. They later divorced. He most recently married Damie Hindman, but later divorced. 

He attended schools in Denmark and Burlington, Iowa. 

Tony worked at US Gypsom Plant in Sperry before deciding he enjoyed roofing and home improvement more. 

Tony was a forever Seattle Seahawks fan. He enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting when he could. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and going to music concerts with his friends. 

Survivors include two daughters, Hannah Myers of Mount Pleasant and Nicole Myers of Cedar Rapids; son, Zane  Myers of Stronghurst, IL; two sisters, Tammy Denning and Dora (Dean) Maxwell of Burlington; brother, Troy (Heather) Smith of Burlington; three grandchildren; five nephews and two nieces.

Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by several aunts, one uncle and cousins.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
