Victoria “Vickie” Clo Hull, 72, of Burlington, died at 12:50 AM Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Born March 13th, 1954 in Burlington, IA, Vickie was the daughter of Kyle “Dude” and Doris Johnson. She married Rick Orth in 1974; they later divorced. On June 21, 1985, she married Tom Hull and they spent 36 years together before his passing in 2021.
Vickie spent over 40 years working as a nurse, taking care of anyone she met along the way and making lifelong friends.
Vickie was an avid gardener and always enjoyed browsing flower catalogues with her Grandma Warth. She was a holiday enthusiast, celebrating each and every Halloween and Christmas to the fullest, pulling out all the stops. Known for singing as she walked about the house, she would often make up her own songs or simply change the words to any classic she desired. Vickie delighted in filling out a crossword puzzle or watching a hallmark movie over a good cup of coffee. Above all, she was happiest whenever spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include Vickie’s sister Jane Eslami; brother Keith (Elaine) Johnson; 3 sons, Nick (Kayla) Hull; Dillon (Tabitha) Orth; Kris (Logan) Hull; 2 daughters, Amy (Rod) VanNiewaal; Ann (Spencer) Hill; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren with a 5th one on the way; sister-in-law, Barb Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Kenny and Ambrose Johnson and 1 sister, Linda Johnson.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southeast Iowa Regional Home Health and Hospice.
The family will be honoring Vickie’s wishes by holding a celebration of life at a later date.
